Laragh N.S produced an excellent second half display to overcome a determined Crosskeys N.S team in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Division 1 Camogie Final on Thursday evening last in the 3G Pitch, Kingspan Breffni Park.
Both sides hit a wide apiece in the opening embers of the first half, before Hannah Fitzsimons struck the opening point for Crosskeys N.S, in the third minute of the half.

The Stradone school sent a goal chance just wide of Grace Reilly's goal in the 18th minute, which would have opened their account and catapulted them into the lead.
Crosskeys N.S took a slender 0-1 to 0-0 lead into the half time intermission.
Aislinn Keenaghan, who had an excellent match for Laragh N.S wasted little time in getting Laragh off the mark striking over a delightful point from long range just seconds into the second period. This tied the match up at 0-1 each.
Laragh N.S controlled possession for large spells of the second half but couldn't convert their dominance into scores. They stuck five wides in succession until they broke through for the all important goal with 33 minutes gone.
Keenaghan produced a fantastic piece of skill and delivered an inch perfect pass into Eimear Cahill, who powered away from a Crosskeys defender before driving her shot low and hard to Grace Reilly's net. This left the Laragh ladies with a 1-1 to 0-1 advantage with seven minutes of the contest left.
Eimear Cahill, who picked up the player of the match award for Laragh N.S, made absolutely sure of victory for her side with her second goal in the 35th minute when her shot from distance deceived Grace Reilly and snuck into the Crosskeys net.
Laragh hit three wides in the closing stages with Aoife Brady coming agonisingly close to bagging her side's third goal in injury time when she blasted her shot just wide of the Crosskeys goal.
Despite the low scoring nature of this Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Division 1 Girls Camogie decider it was a very competitive and enjoyable match. Both defences were excellent for long spells of the match, with only two bits of magic from Laragh, proving to be the difference between the two teams.
