Ballynarry N.S's eased to victory in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Division 2 Final against Killygarry N.S in the 3G Pitch, Kingspan Breffni Park.
Ballynarry N.S hit Killygarry N.S with two quick sucker punches at the start of the match with Evan Cribbin firing in a brace of goals in the second and third minutes.
Cribbin laid on an assist for Dwayne Mulvey to get Ballynarry's first point of the contest in the ninth minute, as the Ballymachugh based school, moved into a 2-1 to 0-0 advantage.
Jamie Masterson and Peter Devine tagged on a point apiece for Ballynarry N.S to leave their side firmly in control of the match leading 2-3 to 0-0 after 12 minutes.
Ballynarry N.S penned Killygarry back in their own half for large spells of the first half with a rock solid defence and dangerous attack. Shane Tynan scored a delightful long range point for Ballynarry in the 16th minute to open up a ten point chasm between the two sides.
Jack Mooney got Killygarry off the mark in the 20th minute, of the first half slotting over a free which left the half time score reading, Ballynarry N.S 2-4 to Killygarry N.S's 0-1.
Ballynarry N.S's Peter Devine scored a cracking point seconds into the second half and Cribbin laid on another assist, for a Ballynarry point with 27 minutes gone, with Masterson profiting from his vision to point.
Ben Mooney converted two frees for Killygarry in the 32nd and 33rd minutes to trim their deficit to 2-6 to 0-3. Jack Mooney's fine point on the run in the 36th minute left eight points between the sides.
Ballynarry N.S again moved up through the gears to slot in 1-2 in quick succession. Aaran Briody got the point in the 38th minute and followed it up with a goal, after a Cribbin assist to leave it 3-7 to 0-4 with time almost up.
Thomas Kiernan split the posts for Ballynarry N.S before Ben Mooney pointed a free for Killygarry N.S. Masterson shot the final point of the match in injury time to seal a thirteen point Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Division 2 Final Title success.
Ballynarry N.S continued the success that Ballymachugh have enjoyed at underage club level this year, and they overpowered their opponents on the day. Their defence only conceded one point from play over the forty minutes and their attack proved too hot to handle for Killygarry N.S.
Killygarry N.S to their credit, never threw in the towel and kept plugging away, despite the result of the contest virtually being decided in the first half.
